Editorial Policy — How Parachar Checks Scheme Rules

Parachar publishes free calculators and guides on Indian government loan and subsidy schemes. Because these pages affect money decisions, we follow the rules below on every page.

1. Sources we use

Only primary, official sources: Ministry of MSME, KVIC (PMEGP), MUDRA / SIDBI, CGTMSE, RBI, JanSamarth, udyamregistration.gov.in, state government portals and gazette notifications. News articles and other blogs are never used as the source of a rate, limit or eligibility rule.

2. Verification and dates

  • Every tool shows “Rules verified on [date]” with a link to the official source.
  • Rules are re-checked at least once a month and whenever a scheme notice is issued.
  • Paused or closed schemes are marked clearly at the top of the page.

3. How calculations work

Calculators use fixed, published formulas. AI may help with wording, translation or layout, but never decides a rate, a subsidy percentage or whether someone is eligible. Each result is an estimate, not an approval.

4. Independence

  • We don’t accept payment to change a tool’s result or a scheme’s ranking.
  • We never link to paid look-alike Udyam or scheme “registration” portals.
  • Tools never ask for a phone number to show a result. Any affiliate link is labelled (see affiliate disclosure).

5. Corrections

Spotted an error? Send it to us with the official link. Verified errors are fixed within 48 hours, and the page’s “updated on” date is changed with a one-line note of what changed.

6. Who is responsible

Nishant Yadav, founder, is responsible for all content on Parachar. Read more about us.
