The ₹4,000 rate was payable from 1 April 2024; July 2024 included 3 months of arrears (₹7,000 in that month). The other increases applied from July 2024 (G.O. text).
Eligibility basics
- Old age: 60 years and above; weavers, toddy tappers, fishermen: 50+; dappu artists and cobblers have their own age rules*.
- Disability: 40% or more on the SADAREM certificate; fully disabled / chronic categories need the specified medical certificate.
- White (rice) card family; income and land limits as set by SERP (about ₹10,000 a month rural / ₹12,000 urban, under 3 acres wet / 10 acres dry*).
- Not for families with a government employee / pensioner, income-tax payer, or a four-wheeler (taxi / tractor / auto exempt)*.
Payment and status
- Paid on the 1st of every month at home by village / ward secretariat staff with biometric or face authentication.
- Missed it? Collect from the secretariat in the following days; two months missed in a row may suspend the pension*.
- Status: sspensions.ap.gov.in → Pension status (with pension ID / Aadhaar) or at the secretariat.
- New applications: through the village / ward secretariat when the window is open (the last window was in September 2026*).
