Andhra Pradesh land records on Meebhoomi show the extent in acres and cents: “1.50” means 1 acre 50 cents, which is 7,260 sq yards or 65,340 sq ft (0.607 hectare). The 1B is the Record of Rights (who owns the land), and the Adangal (pahani) is the village account of who cultivates it and what crop. Both are free to view on meebhoomi.ap.gov.in; this page converts the extent and lists what to check.

Resurvey and new LPM numbers
Andhra Pradesh is resurveying villages (Jagananna / YSR resurvey started in 2021; the new government continued it with changes*). In resurveyed villages each parcel gets a Land Parcel Map (LPM) number and the extent may be shown in hectares. If your 1B shows a new LPM number, use the “Hectare + Are” option above; 1 hectare = 2.471 acres = 247.1 cents.
Before you buy land in AP
- 1B and Adangal both show the seller as pattadar / enjoyer, with the same extent.
- The survey number is not in the 22-A prohibited properties list (government, assigned, endowment land) on IGRS AP.
- EC from IGRS AP for 30 years is clean.
- FMB sketch matches the boundaries.
- Registration cost is about 7.5% of the higher of market value and price; see our AP stamp duty calculator.
