Free estimate, not approval. Mission YUVA (Labour & Employment Department, Govt of J&K): nano units up to ₹10 lakh get 25% capital subsidy (30% women / divyang, max ₹1 lakh) and 5% interest subvention; new and existing MSMEs get 6% interest subvention for 5 years. Example: ₹10 lakh bakery and a ₹10 lakh MSME loan
Riya, 28, from Anantnag starts a ₹10 lakh bakery under the nano scheme. She puts in 10% = ₹1,00,000 and J&K Bank lends ₹9,00,000. At 11% for 5 years the EMI is ₹19,568. As a woman she gets a 30% capital subsidy, capped at ₹1,00,000, and the 5% interest subvention reaches its ₹50,000 cap, so her effective EMI is about ₹18,735. Total saved: ₹1,50,000.
Second case — the ₹10 lakh loan people search for: a ₹12.5 lakh new micro unit in Jammu (New MSME scheme). Own share 20% = ₹2,50,000, loan ₹10,00,000, 11% for 7 years: EMI ₹17,122. The 6% subvention for 5 years is about ₹2,15,301 (under the ₹5 lakh micro cap), so the effective EMI in those 5 years is about ₹13,534 and total interest falls from ₹4,38,285 to about ₹2,22,984.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Mission YUVA loan interest rate? The bank charges its normal floating rate (J&K Bank nano loans: RLLR + 1%). The government then pays an interest subvention: 5% a year for nano units and 6% a year for new and existing MSMEs, for up to 5 years. At an 11% bank rate a nano borrower effectively pays about 6% and an MSME borrower about 5%, until the cap is reached.
What is the EMI on a ₹10 lakh Mission YUVA loan? At 11% for 7 years the EMI on a ₹10 lakh loan is about ₹17,122. Under the New MSME scheme (project ₹12.5 lakh, you put in ₹2.5 lakh) the 6% subvention is worth about ₹2.15 lakh over 5 years, so your effective EMI in those years is about ₹13,534. For 5 years the EMI is about ₹21,742.
How much subsidy do I get under Mission YUVA? Nano enterprises (project up to ₹10 lakh) get a capital subsidy of 25% of project cost, or 30% for women and divyang (40%+ disability) applicants, capped at ₹1 lakh, plus 5% interest subvention (the J&K Bank annexure caps it at ₹50,000). New MSMEs get no capital subsidy but 6% interest subvention for 5 years, capped at ₹5 lakh (micro), ₹30 lakh (small) or ₹75 lakh (medium). Existing units get 6% for 5 years, capped at ₹10 lakh.
What is the age limit and eligibility for Mission YUVA? You must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir aged 18 to 59. Nano and New MSME loans are for new units; Business Acceleration is for micro and small units that have been running for at least 5 years and want to expand. The scheme is aimed at first-time entrepreneurs.
What is the maximum loan amount under Mission YUVA? Nano: project up to ₹10 lakh, so a loan up to ₹9 lakh. New MSME: the portal speaks of loans up to ₹2 crore, while the J&K Bank annexure allows projects above ₹10 lakh up to ₹125 crore with 80% bank finance. Business Acceleration: projects above ₹10 lakh up to ₹25 crore, 80% bank finance.
Is a guarantor or collateral needed for a Mission YUVA loan? Nano loans are collateral-free with CGTMSE guarantee cover, so no property or third-party guarantor is needed. For larger MSME loans the bank decides case by case: micro and small loans can get CGTMSE cover, but the bank may still ask for collateral or a personal guarantee; medium units should expect collateral.
Can I take a vehicle, auto or car loan under Mission YUVA? The Mission YUVA papers we checked do not list vehicle loans as a separate product. A commercial vehicle used in a business (for example a load carrier) may be part of a project, but a personal car is not covered. Ask your J&K Bank branch whether your vehicle project qualifies; this calculator does not treat it as a separate scheme.
